Experience
While studying at LECOM, Dr. Gatis was selected to serve as an academic and clinical tutor. He also served as vice president of the Forensic Odontology Group. He received training and certification in using dental records to assist local and national law enforcement with cases of missing and unidentified persons. Dr. Gatis was awarded the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Dental Student Award for Excellence. He enjoys taking continuing education courses in cosmetic dentistry, dental implantology, and minimally invasive restorative techniques to offer his patients the best care possible. In addition to practicing in the office, Dr. Gatis has been the sole dentist at the Collier County Jail since February 2020. He provides pain management and surgical extractions at the jail once a week for the incarcerated.
Dr. Gatis prides himself on maintaining healthy smiles and restoring teeth with a conservative approach whenever applicable. His gentle nature and compassion have garnered many compliments from patients and peers alike. He also welcomes sarcastic and humorous banter with patients and staff!
Dr. Gatis is trained and certified in cosmetic injectables (botulinum toxin A and dermal fillers), Invisalign®, and forensic odontology. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association.
